It is one thing to have information about God; however, information does not replace your intimacy with God. If you want to walk in financial increase, you must become intimate with what God says about your finances. So, seize the day and make the most of every day of your life so you can live the victorious life God created you to live!

The decisions you make today, and the self-disciple to follow through with those decisions will make your life better. John Wooden says it best, “Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.”

We can’t deny change when it comes to our lives, and we can’t stop making choices to change and grow or we become stagnant in life.  We need to embrace change because it helps us grow. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.”

Lucia will encourage you to change your habits this year, because if you don’t, this year will be like last year, and next year will be like this year.  Before you know it, you will be at the end of your life with a bag full of wishes and I should haves!

Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t do something – you’re right!! Set your mind to be the champion, not the victim so you can walk in victory every day of your life!

You can be strong when you seem weak.

Hold onto your dream and don’t let it go! When you are almost at your breaking point because the enemy’s pressure is so strong to make you quit, you can know that your breakthrough is just around the corner! Don’t focus on the pressure! Don’t talk about the pressure! Instead, talk to the pressure! Remind the pressure that you already have the victory! Talk about what God has already done for you and rejoice in the fact that He will do it again! God is not only ready, He is willing to turn things around for you to make your dream a reality!

I like what 1 Corinthians 10:13 in the Message Bible says, “…All you need to remember is that God will never let you down; he’ll never let you be pushed past your limit; he will be there to help you come through it.”  Hold onto your dream when the pressure is on and refuse to quit or give up because God created you to win! The promises God has made to you regarding your dreams will come to pass if you will continue to use your faith instead of allowing doubt, fear and unbelief to creep into your heart. In today’s show, Lucia shares something that we all need to keep alive in our hearts if we are going to walk into victory, and that is hope! We must keep our hope alive because it is the anchor for our souls!

Hebrews 6:18-20 in the Passion Translation says ^“So it is impossible for God to lie for we know that his promise and his vow will never change! And now we have run into his heart to hide ourselves in his faithfulness. This is where we find his strength and comfort, for he empowers us to seize what has already been established ahead of time—an unshakeable hope! We have this certain hope like a strong, unbreakable anchor holding our souls to God himself. Our anchor of hope is fastened to the mercy seat^[a] which sits in the heavenly realm beyond the sacred threshold, and where Jesus, our forerunner, has gone in before us.”

The anchor for our souls is this hope that reaches into Heaven. This anchor is both sure and steadfast. It holds fast in the very presence of God. In Romans 3:21 Paul says, “But now God has shown us a way to be made right with him without keeping the requirements of the law, as was promised in the writings of Moses and the prophets long ago.”  God made us righteous – or in right standing with Father God – by the shed Blood of Jesus and not by the works we do.  When the enemy attacks you or makes accusations against you, you must answer him.  Pleading the Blood of Jesus is synonymous with faith in the Blood of Jesus.  You can rest your case and know that it will be settled because of your faith in the Blood of Jesus. God wants you to know what is on the inside of you so you can walk in victory! When doubt and fear come to harass you and make you want to give up and quit, you must go back to the Word of God, build your faith, and then hold fast to your profession of faith.

If you, or someone you know, is living with depression, oppression, worry, doubt, unbelief, fear of your future or just fear in general, it may be because you don’t know where you’re positioned in Jesus Christ.

Lucia asks the question, “What if I told you, you could be so certain of where you are in Jesus, and that your position of power and authority has already qualified you to walk in victory?”, and then she answers that question for you.

When you were born again, the old you – the real you – your spirit man – was born again.  But that was not the end of it.  When Jesus was raised from the dead, you were raised from the dead! When Jesus ascended, you ascended! This is why the life you are living now is empowered by your faith in Jesus Christ.

Lucia encourages you to start seeing yourself the way God sees you!  Whatever Jesus had, whatever He did, you can have it and you can do it. Plus, where Jesus is seated now is where you are seated!!  Now, your confession is ‘I’m seating with Jesus at the right hand of Father God which is the place of authority!’

Lucia continues her series on the Power of Your Confession as she shares Jesus is your Advocate and Satan is your adversary, your accuser, or your enemy so you need to be aware of the words you’re speaking because they will either empower your Advocate or your Adversary!

Revelations 12:10 says, “the one who accuses them before our God day and night.”  Because Satan is a legalist and doesn’t understand the gift of Grace, He’s using the Law against you and accusing you with his words before Father God for everything you do.

However, God’s made a way to help you! He gave you a public defender, an advocate, who is above reproach and knows the Law.  Father God is your Judge and He’s already judged you righteous!  He’s the Judge that taught your defender and advocate everything about the Law, and He’s constantly making intercession for you at the right hand of Father God.

Hebrews 3:1 say Jesus is the High Priest of your confession so when you combine His High Priestly function with His legal function of being your advocate, He becomes the counsel for your defense and the High Priest of your confession.

Jesus paid a high price on the cross with His shed Blood to set you free and His Blood is still your defense.  Although Satan is accusing you before Father God, Jesus defends you in two ways.  The first is that He’s always making intercession for you at the right hand of Father God, and as you make your faith confessions by speaking the Word of God, He becomes the Great High Priest of your confession.  This is why your positive, faith-confession is of the utmost importance to live a victorious life!  If you don’t speak the Word of God or if you have a negative confession, you give Satan the power to convict and defeat you.

Speaking positive, faith confessions is a Spiritual Law that God put into effect for your benefit to help you walk in victory. You can apply this Law to your life everyday with your faith-filled words.

Lucia’s continues her series on the Power of Your Confession and shares that what’s in your heart in abundance comes out of your mouth.  Luke 6:45 says, “A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart. What you say flows from what is in your heart.”

These words are what’s controlling your life. God’s plan is for you to live in victory while you’re here on the earth.

If you want your life to change, you have to change what’s in your heart and what’s coming out of your mouth.  You have to give God something to work with, so you need to speak the Word of God!  You are the one who can decide what your life will be like because God designed His system to work that way.

The best way to move forward in life is to let the Word of God get down in your heart so there’s in an abundance of it in your heart. Then when you open your mouth, the Word of God comes out and God will confirm His Word in your life.

Duane was introduced to a book that explained the effects of our positive and negative words on frozen water crystals.  As Duane read the book, God gave him the revelation that because our bodies are made of a large percentage of water, our words have the same effects on us as they do on the examples given in relation to the water crystals.

 Jesus didn’t say only a select few would do these works. He said those who believe on Him would do them. God wants people who are mighty in the Spirit; who are full of power. He has no such thing as small measures of men because He has great designs for you, and He’s determined by His power and His grace through His Son, Jesus, to bring you into His Glory.

God has done everything He’s going to do for you, because He’s given you His power and authority, and now He’s waiting on you to exercise your authority by speaking His word to the situation. He can’t do anything until you release your authority by speaking faith-filled words.

The power that’s in you is greater than the power that’s in the world, because the power that backs your authority is greater than that which backs your enemy’s authority.  You can reign in this life because Jesus has already paid the price for you to have victory. Then, he ascended to Heaven and sat down at the right hand of Father God, which is the place of authority. As a child of God, you are now seated with Jesus in the place of authority.

First John 3:9, New Living Translation says, “Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God.”  It’s not your spirit-man that wants to do wrong; it’s your flesh-man!

Until you renew your mind with the Word of God, your flesh and your unrenewed mind will dominate your spirit man, and you’ll stay a baby, or carnal Christian.  When you renew your mind with God’s Word, then your mind will take sides with your spirit-man instead of your flesh-man.  Whichever man you feed the most will be the man that dominates your life.

Your born-again spirit man has the nature, life, and love of God in it.  Holy Spirit dwells within your spirit man and 1 John 4:4 says, “ But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.”  As you follow four simple exercises, your faith will grow and you’ll receive guidance from Holy Spirit so you’ll always live a  victorious life!

Lucia continues her series on Being Led by Holy Spirit in this episode as she focuses on the Holy Spirit leading you into victory.

There are three ways Holy Spirit leads you: by an inward witness; an inward voice; or He may speak to you audibly.  The key is to learn how He’s leading you so you can walk it out by faith.

Being led by the inward witness is the primary way God leads his children.  Romans 8:16 says, “For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as he whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!” 

The second way Holy Spirit leads you is by an inward voice. Romans 9:1 says, “With Christ as my witness, I speak with utter truthfulness. My conscience and the Holy Spirit confirm it.”

 The third way Holy Spirit leads you is with an audible voice.  Your spirit man has a voice just like your physical man has a voice.  We call this voice your conscience.  You’ll learn the difference between your spirit’s voice and Holy Spirit’s voice, because His voice is more authoritative than your conscience.

John 16:13 says, “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future.”   Holy Spirit will lead and guide you from within your spirit-man instead of being led from the outside realm so you can walk in total victory!

Romans 8:14 and 16 says, “ For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.”  Proverbs 20:27 says, “The Lord’s light penetrates the human spirit, exposing every hidden motive.”  According to these scriptures, God guides you through your spirit.

Paul call’s your spirit man the “inward man” and Peter calls your spirit man the “hidden person of the heart.”  Throughout the New Testament when you read about the heart, it is referring to your spirit man – the real you.   If you’ll think of your spirit man in this way, it will help you understand what the Bible is saying, and it will help your faith grow stronger.

You always win spiritual battles in the spiritual realm.  Everything you need is in the spiritual realm and you receive it by faith with your spirit man, the real you, so you can walk in total victory!

Have you ever stopped to ask yourself, “How does God fill us with His presence today?”  The Promise is the same today as it was when Jesus spoke with His disciples in the upper room after He was arrested, crucified, and resurrected.

 Jesus made a promise to them that Father God would give them the gift of Holy Spirit.  Can you imagine what those in the upper room must have been thinking as they waited for the promise Jesus told them about?  They may be like many today who can relate to Acts 19:2, “The first thing he asked them was “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you became believers?”  “No,” they replied. “We’ve not even heard of a holy spirit.”

And then, The Promise they had been waiting for arrived!  Can you imagine the joy they experienced that day as they had a personal encountered with Holy Spirit!  Can you imagine the overwhelming feeling of God’s tangible love they must have felt from Father God as Holy Spirit embraced everyone in the room?

The Promise Jesus made His disciples is still available to you today if you want more!

It doesn’t matter how good you think things are in your life or your spiritual walk with Father God, there is more!  God has more for you, and He wants you to ask Him for it!  Join Lucia as she shares from Ephesians 3:20 in the New Living Translation. “ Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

She shares a spiritual key is to reach out in faith to take whatever you want or need from Jesus so you can walk in victory!  She will reference four people with real-life situations from the book of Mark. Each of them had varying levels of faith when they were in the presence of Jesus with their issues and they all received their healing.  It didn’t matter if they had little faith or great faith.

If you want to create a culture of more, you have to share testimonies of people that have been healed, delivered, set free, and restored.  You need to talk about what Jesus has done…who He’s healed, who He’s delivered, who He’s restored…because this builds people’s faith to receive their healing, freedom, restoration, or whatever they’re believing God to do for them.

Although these four situations deal with healing, you can apply the Law of Faith to any area of your life and receive more from God!  As you locate your level faith, remember, each person received what they needed at their level of faith.  You can receive right where you are!

Ask God to stir up your hunger for Him and bring revival to your heart because there’s so much more!  He created you to live a victorious life, and you do that by walking by faith!

Join Lucia as she finishes her series on faith and shares that we have to fight the good fight of faith to live a victorious life!  It’s important that we learn how to use our faith and apply the principles of faith so nothing will be impossible to us.

Jesus tells us in Mark 11:12, “From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and violent men take it by force.” 

We have to fight the good fight of faith because Satan is going to come against us to discourage us and keep us from entering into God’s will, which is for us to have days of heaven on earth.

We must have bulldog tenacity to stick with our faith confessions and not give up when we think it’s taking too long for our manifestation to come.  If we give up, we allow Satan to win by stealing our blessings.

Every time we make our faith confessions from the Word of God, we’re fighting the good fight of faith and we empower God’s angels so they can defeat Satan’s demons, and bring the answer to our prayers.  God’s angels can only get through based on our faith confessions.  When we back off our faith confession, we allow Satan to win.

Our part is to make the commitment to fight the good fight of faith and be willing to stand as long as it takes for the answer to manifest.  According to the Bible, we’ve already won!  We’ve got our answer, but it takes our faith to bring whatever we need out of the spiritual realm into the natural realm.  We just have to stand until it manifests, and we do that by fighting the good fight of faith to walk in victory!

Mark 11:24 says, “Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.”  There are two things that impact when the “they will be granted you” will manifest.  The first is the nature of the thing that you’re asking for, and the second is the level of your faith at the time you pray.

Lucia compares the Roman officer’s faith in Matthew 8 to Peter’s faith in Matthew 14. One has great faith; the other, little faith!

As your faith grows by receiving victory after victory, you’ll go to a higher level of faith and your faith will be stronger.  The key to making this happen is to grow your faith strong before you need to use it!  You can’t wait until you’re in the heat of the battle to realize you need stronger faith!

God will meet you where you are, however, He wants you to grow your faith to receive more!  It takes your faith in God’s Word and God’s power to produce results in your life.  His power is always available to you, but it takes your faith to activate that power into your life.

When you start learning how faith works, you can receive using someone else’s faith; however, it’s more fun to grow your own faith so you can receive for yourself, and eventually help others receive by your faith until they can grow their own faith!

Once you learn how to use your faith, the enemy can’t defeat you!  He can’t talk you out of your victory, nor can other people.  When you reach this level of faith, you will live a victorious life!

Join Lucia as she talks about how to put your faith into operation through the prayer of faith.  There are different kinds of prayers we can pray: the prayer of praise and worship; the prayer of agreement where two or more people agree together; the prayer of binding and loosing; the prayer of intercession; and the prayer of petition or the prayer of faith.

The prayer of petition is the most common prayer, and this is where we ask Father God to do something for us or give us something.  There are laws that govern its operation, and if we don’t operate according to the laws that govern it, it won’t work for us.

Mark 11:24 is a great example of the prayer of faith.  The Good News Translation reads, “For this reason I tell you: When you pray and ask for something, believe that you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask for.”

This is one of the most important statements in the Bible and could be the solution to every challenge you may ever face.  Your faith is released through prayer and this verse is the key that unlocks doors to walk in victory.

Jesus says when you pray for your desires, believe that you receive them when you pray, and you will have them!

It doesn’t matter what your heart desire, the technique to get it manifested in your life is the same for whatever you desire.

Everything we receive from God we receive by our faith.  The technique or principle of faith is this: when you pray, believe that you receive them when you pray, and you will have them.   If you don’t believe you receive them when you pray, you are not going to receive anything!

Join Lucia as she shares it takes faith to believe in a God we can’t see, and trust in His Word to know that He has already blessed us. This is where we learn to walk by faith, and what we believe is what we receive.

There are two worlds – the natural realm and the spiritual realm – and the spiritual realm is more real than the natural realm!  The physical realm we live in is a result of the work God did in the spirit realm.

Because God is a spirit and Holy Spirit is a spirit, we can be assured that Jesus is a spirit.  And because we’re made in their image and likeness, we’re a spirit, which means we’ll live forever!  Although our earth suit will eventually die, our spirit man will live forever just like God and Jesus will live forever.

We have to use our faith to believe God is real and everything that God says in His Word is out there in the spirit realm and we can have it.  God’s economic system is activated or driven by our faith; compared to our world economic system which is driven or activated by dollars.  All that stands between you and your dreams coming true is money.  If you’ll take this comparison and flip-it over to the spiritual realm and realize the only thing that stands between you and your dreams is the level of your faith, you can have whatever you desire!

You will never be disappointed when you learn to walk by faith and trust God!  You will go from victory to victory, and from glory to glory!  You’ll realize you serve a limitless God who is only limited by your faith to receive!

Join Lucia as she explains your faith takes time to grow, and it will always produce results.  Like anything worthwhile that you work for, you have to work at growing your faith.  It’s similar to a muscle that needs exercise to make it grow.

At first you may not see results, but the longer you stick with it, the stronger it will become.  As you commit to walking by faith, and are fully persuaded that what God says in His Word is true and it will work for you if you work the Word, then give your faith time to grow, you will live a victorious life.

Our goal is to be like the woman with the issue of blood that said within herself, “If I can just touch the fringe of his clothes, I know I can be made whole.”  Her step of faith to touch His garment caused the healing power of God to be released through His body and Jesus called that faith, because He said, “Daughter, your faith (or you could say your action) has made you whole.”

Faith starts with believing, because believing puts you into position to act upon what you believe.  The more you act on your faith, the stronger it will become.

Matthew 9:27-30 tells us the blind men acted on their faith by following Jesus and calling out to Him.  Jesus asked them what they wanted, because he wanted to know if they believed he could make them see.  Jesus’ reply to them then is still the same for us today when we ask Him for something.  Jesus told the blind men because of their faith; they would have their eyesight restored.

Faith always produces results!

To walk by faith and enjoy a victorious life, focus on the things that are unseen – the promises of God – and not the things seen in the natural realm because 2 Corinthians 4:18 says, “because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal.”

The first thing you do is ignore the negative circumstances, and the second thing you do is choose to say what God says about your circumstances.  God is not a man that He should lie so this means He’s telling the truth.  Whatever He says in His Word is true and you can stand on His promises and say what He says.

Keep your eyes on the Word of God, keep your mind focused on the Word of God, keep the Word of God in your mouth, and ignore the symptoms of lack, sickness, fear, or negative thoughts the enemy tries to bring to your mind.

Your key to walk in victory is to ignore your symptoms, circumstances or situations just like you would ignore an unwanted phone call.  You simply push the decline or silent button in your mind as you would your phone’s silent button and ignore those thoughts.

You aren’t saying the caller isn’t there; you’re just not allowing them to impact your present situation.  You don’t deny the fact that negative situations exist in your life; you simply don’t focus on them.  This is a mind that’s walking by faith.

Faith is not something you try, it’s something you do.  It’s a way of life. It unlocks and opens doors for you and causes you to walk in victory every day of your life!!

Every time you hear the Word of God, it will increase your faith to believe the impossible is possible.  If you have the Word, you have faith!

Second Corinthians 4:18 says, “So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.”

Hebrews 11:1 in the Amplified Bible says, “Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].” 

Romans 1:8 in the Amplified Bible says, “First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith [your trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness] is being proclaimed in all the world.”

If you want your faith to grow strong so you can live by faith, this is your key – learn to trust and have confidence in God’s power, wisdom and goodness because it will open every door for you.

Faith begins where the will of God is known.  When you know what His Word says about your situation, this is where your faith begins.  If you don’t think it’s God’s will for you to have something, you can’t release your faith to believe you receive it. 

God wants you to focus on the unseen realm which are His promises.  You look at them with the eye of faith, because faith is the proof or title deed of the things you cannot see with your natural eyes.

Lucia continues her study of faith and shares faith is the evidence of the unseen. God’s Word tells us what’s in the spirit world, and it’s actually more real than the physical world we can connect to with our five senses.

Faith is the evidence or the proof of things that are not perceived by our senses.

The more you get out of the natural realm, or the more you stop being led by your emotions and senses, the more you move over into the spiritual realm, and the easier it will be to walk by faith.

As you learn to walk by faith, it becomes a conditioning process.  You’re not moved by what you see or how you feel.  If God has ever answered your prayers and came through for you one time, that is your point of reference that He will do it for you again!

As you grow in your faith, you will come to the point that you simply trust Him to do what you ask Him to do and you don’t have to feel anything or see anything when you pray; you simply take God at His Word and trust Him to do what He says He will do.

You settle in your heart that you’ll do 2 Corinthians 5:7 which says, “We walk by faith and not by sight.”  And the New Living translation says, “We live by believing and not by seeing.”

Join Lucia as she continues her study of faith and shares how faith works. The scripture for this session is Hebrews 11:1, which explains the characteristics of faith.  The Good News Translation says, “To have faith is to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see.”

This is the traditional biblical definition of faith; however, Webster’s 1828 Dictionary says faith is a noun with a Latin root meaning fides, fido, or to trust.  One of the meanings of faith is that it is a firm, cordial belief in the veracity of God, in all the declarations of his word; or a full and affectionate confidence in the certainty of those things which God has declared, and because he has declared them. 

 Although these are the definitions of faith, Lucia explains that we cannot apply definitions to situations.  We have to extract from the definition what the definition actually means and then apply it to our situations.

Faith is the key that operates everything in the Kingdom of God and everything we receive from God we receive by faith!  As we look at Hebrews 11:1, we see faith has a time.  There’s a time when faith is faith, and there’s a time when it’s not, and you have to know the difference. So, when is faith, faith?  Hebrews 11:1, tells us faith is present tense.  Faith is always NOW! If what your speaking and believing is not now, then it’s not faith!

Settle in your mind that God has done everything He’s going to do! Your job is to simply believe you receive what He’s already done!  That’s how faith works.

Lucia continues her study of faith this week, and shares that everyone has been given “a” measure of faith or “the” measure of faith, and what we do with that measure is the key to growing strong faith.

Have you ever prayed and ask God for more faith?  You don’t have to ask for more faith; you just need to know how faith works! 

If you’re a born again Christian, settle in your heart that you already have faith according to Romans 12:3. The New American Standard Bible says, “For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.”  Another word for each is everyone, so He didn’t leave anyone out if you’re born again. 

As you use your faith to believe for things where you are right now, and you receive them, your faith will grow, and it will get stronger.  One miracle calls for another! And one victory calls for another! 

As you listen to this message, I encourage you to settle in your heart that you know, that you know, that you know, that you have faith.  Once you settle this in your heart, you’ll not doubt that you have faith and you can go forward to develop strong faith and move on into the higher things of God.  God wants us to progress and go from Glory to Glory, which means we go from one level to the next level spiritually.

Lucia continues her study of faith in this week’s podcast by sharing you must have faith to please God.

She references Hebrews 11:6 in The Passion Translation which says, “And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking him.”

And Hebrews 3:7-12 in the New Living Translation tells us it’s important to walk by faith. “That is why the Holy Spirit says, “Today when you hear his voice, don’t harden your hearts as Israel did when they rebelled, when they tested me in the wilderness.  There your ancestors tested and tried my patience, even though they saw my miracles for forty years.  So I was angry with them, and I said, ‘Their hearts always turn away from me.  They refuse to do what I tell them.’  So in my anger I took an oath: ‘They will never enter my place of rest.’  Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.”

A key statement in this verse is “Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving.”  Paul is telling us that an unbelieving heart or a heart that is not full of faith is considered to be evil!!

If you want God’s Word to work for you, you must mix it with your faith.  The Word of God can be preached; people can hear the Word; and it will not profit or produce for them because they don’t mix their faith with the Word of God.

Walking in faith causes you to live the victorious life!

Lucia is continuing her study of faith this week, and is joined by a special guest, and dear friend in the ministry, Mrs. Donna Dudley. Donna shares a subject that is dear to heart, which is meditation.

They will discuss meditation from a positive view, what meditating the Word of God means, and the benefits and results of meditating the Word to increase your faith to live the victorious life.

Psalm 119:97-100 says, “O how I love and treasure the revelation of your word; throughout the day I fill my heart with its light!  By considering your commands I have an edge over my enemies, for I take seriously everything you say. You have given me more understanding than those who teach me, for I’ve absorbed your eye-opening revelation. You have graced me with more insight than the old sages because I have not failed to walk in the light of your ways.”

Meditation is a powerful weapon that God has given us, and Donna gives examples from the Bible where it says to meditate the Word day and night, as well as what Jesus said about meditating the Word.

Donna explains that as you read the Word of God, focus on one verse, think about it, roll it around in your mind and get everything you can from that verse. Then speak it out of your mouth. It will change your mindset which will change your world for the better.

She encourages you to keep the Word before your eyes to build your faith, and then God will give you the command to fulfill your faith.

How to Activate Your Faith

Lucia continues her study of faith this week, focusing on how to activate your faith.  She explains that it’s possible for your faith to increase or grow bigger, and even if you have small faith, you would “say”, which is an action that activates your faith.

You have to act on what you believe by saying what you believe.  There are two ways to release your faith.  First, by what you say and second, by your actions that confirm what you say.

If you want your faith to increase, you have to not only “believe” what you want to happen, you have to “say” what you want to happen!  Believing and saying go hand-in-hand.  You have to say it loud enough for the devil to hear it because he’s the one who’s holding your blessings from you, not God.

James 2:14-18 confirms that faith is activated by an action. It says, “What use is it, my brethren, if someone says he has faith, but he has no works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?  Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.  But someone may well say, “You have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”

Lucia continues her study of faith focusing on faith being an action. Faith is the foundation for living a victorious life.  It’s the first priority for our life, and everything in life is affected by our faith.

Lucia references several Bible verses showing people used their faith by doing an action.  She shares the faith of the centurion, blind Bartimaeus, and the disciples in the storm to show the comparison of strong and weak faith. 
  She explains great faith is activated by the action of speaking the Word of God, and not just believing the Word of God.  If the centurion had just believed Jesus could do something, but never came to Jesus and asked Him to heal his servant, his servant would not have been healed.  What he believed about Jesus would still be true, but it would not have affected his servant.

When we look at the Word of God, we see the works of Jesus as our example to walk by faith.  We can do the same things Jesus did when we exercise our faith and take action.

  Once you pray and petition God for your request, then you believe you receive, and you begin to confess you have it. 

You stick with speaking your confession and fight the good fight of faith that 1 Timothy 6:12 tells us to fight. You stay on the Word of God and keep confessing the promise!  Never give up on what the Word of God will produce in your life.  You have to be willing to stand on the unchangeable Word of God and prepare yourself to stand until you receive the dreams and desires God has put in your heart.  This is how you live the victorious life!

Lucia continues her series on faith, with addressing the enemies of faith.  Just as there are two kinds of faith, there are two kinds of unbelief.  First, there’s the kind of unbelief that’s based on a lack of knowledge of God’s Word.  And second, there’s unbelief because people can’t be persuaded to act on God’s Word although they know the Word.

So, unbelief is either ignorance to the Word of God, or being un-persuaded to act on the Word.  The cure for ignorance is to gain knowledge and the cure for unbelief is obedience.  Faith is acting on God’s Word.  If we really believe God’s Word is true, we’ll be just as steady in the midst of trials, as we are when we’re walking in total victory.

Our faith should be like the faith of Abraham because we’re Abraham’s seed according to Galatians 3:7 which says, “So those who are the true children of Abraham will have the same faith as their father!”  Our faith is simply based on what God says.

Lucia goes on to explain there are several enemies to our faith and explains the only fight we’re to fight is the fight of faith, according to 1 Timothy 6:12, which says “fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.”  Jesus has taken care of every battle we will ever face and has pronounced us the victor!

Lucia begins a new series on faith, and approaches it from a different perspective.  She will encourage you to wake up your God-given dreams because God didn’t give you those dreams to die unfulfilled.  He gave them to you for a purpose…not only to bring you joy, but to touch other people’s lives in the process of you accomplishing your dreams.  Matthew 19:26 says, “Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”

Lucia compares two kinds of faith; Abraham’s faith and Thomas’s faith.  Abraham, who is called the Father of Faith, had spiritual faith, a heart of faith, which was based on everything God said even though he didn’t see it in the natural realm.  Thomas, who was called doubting Thomas, had natural, human faith, and didn’t believe unless he could see it with him natural eyes.

In 2 Peter 3:1, Peter said he came to stir up their pure minds and put them in remembrance of what they’d already heard.  Lucia does the same for you in today’s message.  As you listen, she will stir you up because faith comes by hearing and hearing the God’s Word.

Faith is not only a Substance, it’s a force with supernatural power.  God’s Word is a supernatural power and it has the power to change your situations when you put it to work.  Hebrews 12:2 says, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.”

Join Lucia as she finishes her series on Holy Spirit, building on the foundation from the last three weeks, and sharing more on the power of Holy Spirit, which is the Baptism of Holy Spirit, and the power you receive.  She gives answers from the Word of God to clarify the evidence of being filled with Holy Spirit.

She begins with 1 Corinthians 2:9-10, “ That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”^[a] But^[b] it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.”

She explains that we’re made in God’s image; and we’re a three-part being.  The real you is a spirit; you live in a body, and you have a soul – which is your mind, will, and emotions.  Our spirit-man is the part of us that gets born again or recreated as a brand-new being, one that never existed before, when we ask Jesus to be our Lord and Savior.  First Corinthians 2:14 in the New Living Translation tells us, “But people who aren’t spiritual^[a] can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.”  Spiritual things, like praying in tongues, have to be discerned by our spirit-man, because our mind can’t understand spiritual things.

Holy Spirit is for everyone; it doesn’t matter your nationality, your denomination or your religion. He wants to empower you and help you.

Lucia continues her series on Holy Spirit with a focus on the gifts and talents He gives us and what He expects us to do with those gifts.  First Corinthians 12:1 says, “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.”  The New Living Translation says, “Now, dear brothers and sisters,^[a] regarding your question about the special abilities the Spirit gives us. I don’t want you to misunderstand this.”

She will take you through 1 Corinthians 12 and share what Paul says about the nine spiritual gifts which are the word of wisdom; the word of knowledge; faith; healing; working of miracles; prophecy; discerning of spirits; diverse kinds of tongues; and interpretation of tongues. Verse 11 in the Message Bible tells us “All these gifts have a common origin, but are handed out one by one by the one Spirit of God. He decides who gets what, and when.”

First Corinthians 12:31 says “we should earnestly desire the greater or best gifts.”  Our assignment from God and our responsibility is to discover and recognize our gift, or gifts, and grow in them.  You have more power available to you than you realize, and it enables you to walk in victory if you’ll tap into it!

Holy Spirit planted greatness within you before you were born.  Your destiny is to discover your spiritual gifts, and not decided what gifts you want.  Your job is to enter into His presence, spend time with Him, and discover what His plan is for your life so you can walk in victory every day!

Lucia continues her series on Holy Spirit and shares that Holy Spirit is a person and describes His characteristics.

Holy Spirit is the third person in the Trinity – which is Father God, Jesus his Son, and Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit is fully God. He is omniscient, which means He knows everything, and He’s omnipresent which means He is constantly encountered. Although Holy Spirit is described as Wind, Fire or a White Dove, He is none of these. Holy Spirit is a person and not merely a force.

Lucia references the teachings of the Apostle Paul about the role of Holy Spirit in our lives as a Helper or Enabler, Teacher, Comforter, Witness and Guide. He is also the Spirit of Creativity.

Jesus knew that not only the disciples would need help after He went to Heaven, but that we would need help, also. In John 14:16 Jesus taught us, “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you.” Some Bible translations call Holy Spirit the Comforter, Counselor, or Helper in this verse.

Holy Spirit uses various pictures of Himself in the Bible, like water, fire, or wind, to reveal His works, His nature and various qualities about Himself. But most importantly, Holy Spirit will come to you the way you need Him the most.

He can come as a gentle Nurturer, like a mother who cares for her children. He can come as a brilliant and articulate Advisor when you’re facing a difficult decision or situation. He can come as a comforting Healer when you need physical healing in your body, or you have mental scars from a tormenting battle. And, if you need a friend, He’s a friend that sticks closer than a brother. You can trust Holy Spirit to reveal specific wisdom for your situation so you can live an overcoming, victorious life!

John 16:7 tells us “But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (or some translations say Comforter) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.” …and verses 12-15 says, “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. “He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. “All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore, I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.”

Holy Spirit did a miraculous work in you when you asked Jesus to be Lord over your life and He made you a new creature.  Spiritual death was removed from your spirit and you were born again into a new life with a new spirit.

Holy Spirit personally carries out this miracle when we make Jesus Christ our Lord. This change in a man’s nature is a great, miraculous and supernatural event that makes great power available within him and upon him.

In this podcast, Lucia shares that God has been dealing with her about some of the prayers she has been praying, and compares what she calls “safe prayers” to what she calls “courageous prayers.”
Are your prayers focusing on, “Lord, bless me.” “Lord, help me.” “Lord, protect me as I travel.” These are good prayers to pray; however, these are generally self-centered prayers, and prayers that ask God to do something that His Blood Covenant already provides for us.
Lucia shares that a mighty man of God said…why ask God every day to provide for us, and to protect us, our family, and our children, when, if we really trust God and have faith in who He is and what He’s promised us, we can ask Him once and for all, to cover all of our needs and protect us everywhere we go, and we would know it’s taken care of once and for all because we trust Him.
First John 5:14-15 says, “And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.”
By changing the focus of your prayers from being safe – me-centered prayers – and settling in your heart that He’s got you and that He’s not only going to meet your needs, but He will give you the desires of your heart because you have a covenant with Him, you will realize that you can ask Him for anything and He’ll do it for you so you can ultimately help yourself, and others, walk in victory!

She goes on to explain that God is faithful, and you need to keep believing His promises! Hebrews 10:35 in the Amplified Bible says, “Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward.”
As you apply the Word of God on a consistent and persistent basis, the Word will change your life and you will live in victory every day – which is how God wants us to live! The Word says God will take us from Glory to Glory and from victory to victory so it’s time to decide to go to the next level, and the journey begins with prayer!

Join Lucia as she begins a new series on prayer, and asks “How hungry and thirsty are you for God, and to see His power in your life?” She references Psalm 42:1-2 in the Amplified Bible which says, “As a deer pants [longingly] for the water brooks, so my soul pants [longingly] for You, O God. My soul (my life, my inner self) thirsts for God, for the living God. When will I come and see the face of God?” and uses these verses as a comparison to locate where you are in your spiritual walk with God and your prayer life.

God created us with a deep need for Him and His presence, and when we try to fill that hunger with anything other than Jesus and His Word, we’re never satisfied. We’re still hungry and thirsty for the refreshing power of the Holy Spirit!

When we pray and ask God to make us hungry and thirsty for more of Him, we have to believe that He hears us and will answer us if we will only believe what He says in His Word is the truth!!

John 11:40 tells us, “Jesus looked at her and said, “Didn’t I tell you that if you will believe in me, you will see God unveil his power?” As you pray and believe God’s Word, you will see His power in your life!

The Bible says God will take us from Glory to Glory, from victory to victory, so it’s time to decide to go to the next level, and the journey begins with prayer!

In today’s podcast Lucia finishes her series on Perfecting Your Love Walk and discusses how to overcome offenses. Even though you’re walking in love, you’ll have countless opportunities to get offended every day. 

People who become offended are usually trapped as they go about their normal, daily routines, and suddenly find themselves pulled into an offensive situation that causes hurt and resentment that grows until the person being offended decides to strike back. 

Offenses will come, but you can overcome them and not let them rule your life.  The important thing to remember is that it’s not the trap itself that is the offender; it’s the trapper who sets the trap.

Whenever Satan brings a scheme to cause an offense, he’s setting you up for destruction.  The proper response to an offensive situation is to respond the same way Jesus did!  Rebuke the devil!  That does two things for you.  First, you’re exercising your authority, and this stops the devil from hurting you. Second, it helps you recognize that it’s the devil and not people who sets up an offensive trap for you.

Satan’s plan is specifically designed to fit your weaknesses because he’s after your testimony. He wants to immobilize you and distract you from your destiny.  It’s time to put on the full Armor of God, stop blaming someone else for what they did, and take responsibility for your own actions! 

You can totally change your life by operating out of God’s love; and you can overcome offenses by choosing to forgive so you can live the victorious life God created you to live!

Join Lucia this week as she shares to live a victorious life, a great place to start on that journey is to recognize the characteristics of love and evaluate the way we love other people. Galatians 5:6 tells us, “For when we place our faith in Christ Jesus, there is no benefit in being circumcised or being uncircumcised. What is important is faith expressing itself in love.”

If you want strong faith to live a victorious life, the first place to start is with a firm foundation, and that foundation begins with love. If you’re going to grow and mature as a Christian, you must learn the fundamentals of love from the Word of God, begin meditating those Scriptures to build our faith to walk in love, and then put them to work in your life.

 One of the benefits of a relationship with Holy Spirit is that he will gently guide you in the way you should go, reveal the changes you need to make in your heart, as well as hurts you need to let go of, so they don’t become a root of bitterness in your life.

As you strive to perfect your love walk by taking on the characteristics in 1 Corinthians 13, your faith will become strong, and you’ll see more results as you pray which will lead you to victory.

God has imparted His love to us and as we learn to operate in the Law of Love, the Law of Faith works in our lives launching us into victory!

The enemy is always trying to get your heart full of things to de-rail or stop your love walk. However, 2 Corinthians 10:3, tells us “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.” 

And, Matthew 22:37 and 40, work hand in hand.  When you do the greatest commandment – love the Lord with all our heart; the second commandment – love your neighbor as yourself; comes naturally.  This was Jesus’ answer to the Sadducees and it still works for us today.

Living the Christian life is all about love.  God said, I love you so much and I want you with me in heaven for eternity, so I’ll send you my best and most precious gift, my Son Jesus, so I can have you with Me. 

  Our love walk and faith don’t work because of a formula, rather it comes from a heart full of love for Jesus that flows out of us onto others. 

Lucia explains that it isn’t always easy to forgive and forget, but as you pray and ask God to help you, you’re actually freeing yourself from the bondage the devil would love to keep you in which will result in you living a victorious life,

When life seems out of order, many times it’s because we either haven’t asked God for His plan or His instructions for our life; or He’s given us the plan and instructions, but we’ve decided to do our own thing instead of following through with His plan.

When we stay connected to God’s plans for our life, we’ll do things we never thought possible in our own strength and abilities.  Life is much more fun when you decide to get your eyes off your own abilities and limitations, and have the audacity to trust in, and rely on God’s abilities in you to get the job done!

God wants us to be like Paul and realize He doesn’t choose us for our strengths; He chooses us because of our weakness.  He’s not concerned with your natural limitations and abilities, He just wants you to have faith in Him and His abilities in you, and then have the determination to see the job through to competition!

Lucia shares a few highlights from John Maxwell’s book Today Matters because it helped her refocus her thinking so she can live every day with purpose. She will help you define what you consider a “successful day,” and then, she will give ideas on how to go about creating a successful day.

Everyone has the power to impact the outcome of their life by focusing on “today”. Benjamin Franklin said, “One today is worth two tomorrows; what I am to be, I am now becoming.” If you want to change your life, change what you’re doing today. Success doesn’t just suddenly occur one day; you prepare for success every day.

Decisions and self-discipline always go together, and you can’t have one without the other if you want to live a victorious life. The only adequate preparation for tomorrow is the right use of today! So, seize the day and make the most of every day of your life so you can live the victorious life God created you to live!

The decisions you make today, and the self-disciple to follow through with those decisions will make your life better. John Wooden says it best, “Success is peace of mind, which is a direct result of self-satisfaction in knowing you did your best to become the best that you are capable of becoming.”

Success and procrastination are totally incompatible so if you plan to change your habits, you must discipline yourself of take responsibility for your life and stop putting things off.  Today’s the day to seize the moment – seize the day, because at the end of the year, you don’t want to look back and say, I wish I would have done so and so.

We can’t deny change when it comes to our lives, and we can’t stop making choices to change and grow or we become stagnant in life.  We need to embrace change because it helps us grow. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.”

Lucia will encourage you to change your habits this year, because if you don’t, this year will be like last year, and next year will be like this year.  Before you know it, you will be at the end of your life with a bag full of wishes and I should haves!

As you start the New Year, what better time to look at your goals and habits for the coming year!  Join Lucia as she encourages you to identify habits that will help you be the most effective in your life this year, so you go from ordinary to extra-ordinary!

Changing a habit is a planned process, so whatever Holy Spirit is asking you to do this year, it’s the little choices, the daily self-disciplines that will change your life, identify your character, create your destiny, and determine your victories to set you apart from those around you.

Lucia explains if you want to change your habits, you start by getting your heart and motives right.  Everything begins with heart issues according to Proverbs 4:23 in the New Living Translation, “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.” 

Guarding your heart allows you to think on the right thoughts. Whatever you do, it first begins as a thought or an idea. That’s why it’s so important to think about what you’re thinking about!!  Are your thoughts positive or negative? Are they bringing life or death? Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t do something – you’re right!!

As you listen to Part 3 of the series “God’s Drawn to Movement,” Lucia will have you asking yourself, “What’s my life-purpose? What’s my vision? and, What’s my mission assignment from God?”

Lucia explains the importance of creating a personal, family and/or business vision and mission statement, and she encourages you to take time to invest in your future by praying and asking Holy Spirit to make the answers to these questions clear to you.

She references Habakkuk 2:2-3, “Then the Lord answered me and said, “Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run. “For the vision is yet for the appointed time; It hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay.”

Lucia explains that you were created with a purpose that only you can fulfill and as you discover your passion and purpose, and define your “why”, it may change as the years go by and the seasons of your life change; however, when you go back and revisit your vision statement and remind yourself of your “why”, you will feel yourself getting re-focused and re-energized so you can regain your momentum.

When you have a clear sense of purpose or vision for yourself, your family or your business, people are more inclined to partner with you to make your dream come to pass. You will be aimed, similar to an arrow, that hits the target every time which enables you can walk in victory and live the victorious life God created you live!

Lucia continues her series, “God’s Drawn to Movement.”

Join her for Part 2 as she explains that it’s your decision to keep moving with God that allows you to receive all of His blessings that He has prepared for you. God is for you; He’s not against you, and He’s always ready to bless you and meet your every need; every want; and every desire — right now, right where you are. However, He’s waiting for you to decide to move! It’s time to rise to the occasion as Isaiah 60 tells us, “Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.”

If you’re going to rise up from defeat and walk in victory, you’ll have to exercise your faith with confidence. Unless your confidence is in God and His Word, your faith and faith-confessions are not going to work for you! That means when you humble yourself and say what the Word says, and make our faith confessions, believing God’s Word is backing you up – it will not return void but it will accomplish what you send it out to do!

Lucia explains that Jesus has many titles – Healer, Provider, Deliverer, Restorer – but Chauffer is not one of His titles! The Holy Spirit is waiting for you to take a step of faith so He can help you and direct you to your victory! He is waiting for you to decide to change your point of focus, arise from your current situation, and move toward your dreams and goals!

It doesn’t matter in life how good or bad your past has been, today is the day to forget your past and press on toward your future and your upward call in Jesus.

Third John 2 in the New Heart English Bible says, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in good health, even as your soul prospers.”  Lucia will explain that your soul is your mind, will and emotions, and if you want to live a prosperous life, you will need to make an effort to prosper your soul by meditating on the Word of God and speaking it out of your mouth to change your situation.

Lucia explains that Jesus has done all He’s going to do to help you change your situation because when He sat down at the right hand of Father God, he said it is finished and He made His enemies his footstool.  God has given us His Word, His authority and Holy Spirit to change our lives for the better.  It’s our move to set things into action and Lucia will tell you how to work the Word to get results in your life so you can live the victorious life God created you to live!

If He did it for us, He will do it for you!  She will brag on Daddy God and thank him for His goodness. She will explain that God is no respecter of persons, and since He has blessed Lucia and her family, He will do the same for you!!

So where is your hope? Where is your expectation?  Lucia shares how to pray, be thankful and praise God beforehand so you can have a manifestation of your heart’s desire. She gives examples from Jehoshaphat’s and Paul’s lives as to how they relied on God and not themselves to win the battle.  She explains how their expectation, hope and trust in God brought victory to their lives.

Having an expectation and a heart full of hope puts joy and peace in your life. As you build your faith by reading and speaking the Word of God, you will realize that if God turned just one person’s situation around for them, He will do the same for you. God’s eyes move to and fro across the earth looking for someone to show Himself strong to on their behalf, and He finds us by our faith-filled words. 

There is power in having a thankful heart! This is a key to living the victorious life!

As you celebrate Thanksgiving this week, join Lucia as she continues her series on the “Benefits of a Thankful Heart.”  She shares who and what she is thankful for in her life, and reminds us the Bible says Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.  She connects our listeners to the fact that Jesus took our infirmities, carried our sorrows, was pierced for our transgressions and crushed for our iniquities during the crucifixion, so we can live free from everything the devil tries to put on us.

Jesus is the bridge for us to have a personal relationship with God. He paid a very high price in his body so we can walk free from condemnation; free from sickness in our mind, emotions, and our bodies. He paid the ultimate pricee paid the ultimate price  so we can live a life free from fear, anxiety, stress and worry.  Jesus exchanged our sins for his righteousness when He went to the cross. He paid the price so we can choose to walk in victory every day of our life!

Lucia will give you an opportunity to share communion and be reminded of what Jesus did for us as she reads 1 Corinthians 11:23-25 which tells us what the bread and juice represent.

There is power in The Blood of Jesus! As we recognize and honor the shed blood of Jesus, we empower everything in our life that Jesus paid the price for us to own! This is a key to living the victorious life!

Today’s a great day to have a great day!  It all comes down to our attitude!  Join Lucia for Part 2 of the Benefits of a Thankful Heart. The Word tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18, “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” 

God is still on the throne, and He is still in control of the circumstances that surround our lives. Lucia will give examples of the results of grateful hearts as she shares Corrie and Betsie ten Boom’s story about flees in the concentration camp barracks where they were staying; as well as, the power that was made available for miracles as Jesus thanked God before he asked Him for the miracle of raising Lazarus from the dead, and the multiplying of two loaves and five fish to feed the multitudes resulting in 12 baskets of food collected once everyone had eaten.

You can make a lasting difference in your life by choosing every day, to give God  thanks. When we have a heart of thanksgiving, we realize that no matter what we face, God doesn’t just work to change our situations and help us through our problems, but He changes our hearts in the process. His power, through our heart of gratitude and a mind focused on Him, releases the grip struggles have over us. We’re strengthened by His peace, and we’re refueled by His joy.

God confirmed Ephesians 4:5 to her as they had opportunity to fellowship together.  Their hearts were knit together with one faith in one Lord!  She wants you to have the opportunity to see a glimpse of their loving hearts, hear the faith in their voices, and glean from their wisdom.

Join Lucia as she continues teaching about the authority and power we have as God’s children. She explains God gave you His Name as in a covenant marriage relationship – that’s why you’re called the Bride of Christ.  You gave your old name away when you got saved and took on the name of Jesus.  Now you’re called by the Name of Jesus and use His Name to come to a higher level of spiritual authority.

Jesus came to establish the Kingdom of God on earth and now that Kingdom is in you.  God, in all His power took on a physical body in the Baby Jesus, and then became a man-a King in this kingdom.  He inherited all the things that God has and then transferred that authority of His Name to his children.  Hebrews 1:4 says “he having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.”

Now is the time to begin walking in your God-given authority over Satan and enforce his defeat every day of your life! The devil will listen when you pray in the name of Jesus.   The most effective way to pray is to demand your rights as Peter did at the Gate Beautiful when he demanded that the lame man be healed.  We’re not demanding of God when we demand our rights; we’re demanding the devil to give back what he’s stolen from us!

Lucia will share faith-filled confessions to help you enforce Satan’s defeat in your life, so you can live the victorious life you were created to live.

Lucia continues her series on the power and authority you have as a born-again child of God. The Holy Spirit prayed through Paul that you would have wisdom, understanding, and authority over demonic powers and the problems they cause in your life. John 14:12 reads, “I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father.”  

Jesus didn’t say only a select few would do these works. He said those who believe on Him would do them. God wants people who are mighty in the Spirit; who are full of power. He has no such thing as small measures of men because He has great designs for you, and He’s determined by His power and His grace through His Son, Jesus, to bring you into His Glory. He’s given you a hope and chosen you before the foundations of the World so that He can manifest Jesus in you, and get the Glory over the powers of darkness and the devil, and every evil thing, so that you may reign over the powers of the devil as the Bible tells us in Ephesians 6:12.  

Lucia will give you examples of how to use your God-given power and authority to enforce Satan’s defeat in every situation in your life.

Join Lucia as she explains the power and authority you have as a born-again child of God. She will give you examples of how to use your God-given power and authority to enforce Satan’s defeat in every situation in your life. 

You have authority over circumstances and situations in your life, so when you speak God’s words, you can know heaven will back you up on what you refuse to allow to come into your life, or what you let come into your life.   

Have you allowed negative things in your life because you’ve not exercised your authority to make them leave? Maybe you haven’t done anything about your situation because you didn’t know you have power over Satan and what he brings to you; or you may be waiting on God to do something.

God has done everything He’s going to do for you, because He’s given you His power and authority, and now He’s waiting on you to exercise your authority by speaking His word to the situation. He can’t do anything until you release your authority by speaking faith-filled words. 

The power that’s in you is greater than the power that’s in the world, because the power that backs your authority is greater than that which backs your enemy’s authority.  You can reign in this life because Jesus has already paid the price for you to have victory. Then, he ascended to Heaven and sat down at the right hand of Father God, which is the place of authority. As a child of God, you are now seated with Jesus in the place of authority.

God created you to reflect His image, and as the reflection of God, you have His creative power on the inside of you. When you speak God’s Word in faith, those words release creative power into your circumstances and situations.

God spoke the universe into existence with His words, and Holy Spirit made it come to pass. God has given you that same power to speak words to influence the outcome of your life and create your future. All the creative power you possess is released with your words. Words that bring life or words that bring death.

This message will be good news to you if you’ve never been told God has given you power and authority over Satan and his plans for your life. It will change your perspective on how you live your life, and how you pray once you realize your God-given authority, which will enable you to live the victorious life God created you to live.
