Welcome the World of Seriously Shauna! What a time to be alive, amen?! In the midst of the uncertainty of the times, it is a blessing to know we have the solace of the church. That being said (you knew there was a THAT coming), we are going to take the time, during out interim from traditional church service to maybe take a step back and reevaluate, pragmatically, of course, the way we conduct things at our local churches – in the hopes of implementing changes that will likely only benefit Shauna, still…
In this episode we are going to take a look at some of the activities surrounding the Easter holiday, more specifically in the children’s ministry – because who doesn’t like leaving church with an entire tree of palm branches #PalmSunday. We’re also going to take a look at some of the church name choices that actually exist in the world today and nobody has bothered to tell them it’s a terrible idea.
During the actual service (Big Church to Southern Baptists) we are going to evaluate the necessity of the meet and greet portion – specifically addressing the one guy who leaves his row to touch everyone…
Being in the choir is a dream to some, but the bitterness of being rejected as a choir member may perhaps have skewed Shauna’s judgment on her choir assessment, nevertheless, she presses on. From front-line over singers, to kid music being sung by kids, no stone is left unturned.
If you had concerns about women’s ministry, AWANA, of youth pastors, save your questions until the end of the program, as they may be covered in the show content!
As always, everything is in good fun, nothing will change as a result of these musings, but aren’t you glad you’re not the only one who feels this way…
