Join Lucia as she finishes her series on Holy Spirit, building on the foundation from the last three weeks, and sharing more on the power of Holy Spirit, which is the Baptism of Holy Spirit, and the power you receive. She gives answers from the Word of God to clarify the evidence of being filled with Holy Spirit.
She begins with 1 Corinthians 2:9-10, “ That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”[a] But[b] it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. For his Spirit searches out everything and shows us God’s deep secrets.”
She explains that we’re made in God’s image; and we’re a three-part being. The real you is a spirit; you live in a body, and you have a soul – which is your mind, will, and emotions. Our spirit-man is the part of us that gets born again or recreated as a brand-new being, one that never existed before, when we ask Jesus to be our Lord and Savior. First Corinthians 2:14 in the New Living Translation tells us, “But people who aren’t spiritual[a] can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.” Spiritual things, like praying in tongues, have to be discerned by our spirit-man, because our mind can’t understand spiritual things.
Holy Spirit is for everyone; it doesn’t matter your nationality, your denomination or your religion. He wants to empower you and help you.
