Join Lucia as she begins a new series on Holy Spirit. In this podcast, Lucia shares what happens in the spirit realm when a person asks Jesus to be their Lord and Savior, and the power that’s made available to them by and through Holy Spirit.

John 16:7 tells us “But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper (or some translations say Comforter) will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you.” …and verses 12-15 says, “I have many more things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. “But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come. “He will glorify Me, for He will take of Mine and will disclose it to you. “All things that the Father has are Mine; therefore, I said that He takes of Mine and will disclose it to you.”

Holy Spirit did a miraculous work in you when you asked Jesus to be Lord over your life and He made you a new creature.  Spiritual death was removed from your spirit and you were born again into a new life with a new spirit.

Holy Spirit personally carries out this miracle when we make Jesus Christ our Lord. This change in a man’s nature is a great, miraculous and supernatural event that makes great power available within him and upon him.

  1. John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. Great lesson you have embarked on as it is absolute that we cannot even know Christ except that the Spirit does a work in our life. Someone in response to a Bible study comment I made recently tried to give me a bad time by quipping”So Mark do you speak to God”? I said absolutely. He has put his Holy Spirit in me and He is with me. He gives me life and understanding of the Holy Word of God. He gives me revelation and guides me. He puts Gods desires on my heart and I become more God-like as His desires become my desires. I talk to him every knight when I go to bed and give him thanks for life and health and strength and longevity. I talk to him every morning and give him thanks for the very breath that I breathe and the life I have. He shows me the way and lights my path and even when I am in a Bible study and do not know what to say He gives me the words and speaks through me.” There were seventeen pairs of eyes staring back at me in an all Lutheran Bible group. Thank you Holy Spirit.
