Stop procrastinating! Having been a financial planner for the last quarter of century, I have made many observations of people who have been successful and people who have failed regarding their stewardship. Each person had similar characteristics of other fellow successful or unsuccessful people. Those who were debt free, had sufficient savings in place, and adequate protection portfolios have one profound characteristic. That characteristic is proactivity. Those who controlled their debt, were good savers, limited spending, were good givers, and listened to advice have all done remarkably well. In contrast, those who procrastinated, were always in debt, lived paycheck to paycheck, never saved, cashed in the retirement accounts each time they changed jobs, and basically were oblivious to the fact that they will not live forever all did poorly. We all can learn from other people’s success and failures. The underlying component to successful planners was obedience to God’s word regarding our stewardship. Those who failed. Has no grasp of Biblical financial instruction.
We must, as obedient stewards, be proactive. We must seek the advice of advisors who apply your faith to your plan. We must avoid those who offer world view advice. Regardless of what stage of life you are in, please review your current situation. Whether you have taken the step to begin a plan, or maybe you have a plan in place, but it isn’t a plan that aligns with God’s word, please start now. I would be happy to review your current situation and apprise you of any shortfalls or needed changes. You can reach me at 888-226-7614 or visit www.kingdomplanadvisory.com
