Nurse Warriors

Nurse warriorsEpisode 32–Nurse Warriors: On the Frontlines of a Pandemic

The Working Woman Radio Show was honored to talk with Nicole Bayne, a registered nurse at Emory University Hospital. She shared about the challenges she and other nurse warriors are facing as they deal with the COVID-19 crisis.

Nicole candidly talks about the enormous physical and emotional strain hospital staffers deal with each day. She gives a bird’s eye view of what it is like to be on the frontlines of a pandemic. Nicole talks about the balancing act of serving the sick, but also protecting themselves. She also dispelled some of the myths about the virus, and shared ways that individuals can continue to protect themselves.
