The Working Woman Radio Show was honored to talk with Nicole Bayne, a registered nurse at Emory University Hospital. She shared about the challenges she and other nurse warriors are facing as they deal with the COVID-19 crisis.
Nicole candidly talks about the enormous physical and emotional strain hospital staffers deal with each day. She gives a bird’s eye view of what it is like to be on the frontlines of a pandemic. Nicole talks about the balancing act of serving the sick, but also protecting themselves. She also dispelled some of the myths about the virus, and shared ways that individuals can continue to protect themselves.

Nicole Bayne is a registered nurse and works in the endoscopy department at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta Georgia. She graduated from Berry College and started her nursing career at DeKalb Medical Center which is now called Emory-Decatur Hospital in 2011. When she’s not working, she enjoys taking dance classes and traveling abroad.
