5 Steps to Emotional Healing

Emotional release is something that can be very powerful and ultimately life-changing but getting started is where most people get stuck. It does not have to be as scary as we might think and can be done in 5 simple steps.

Two amazing books to help you dig deeper into emotional release and healing are Releasing Emotional Patterns with Essential Oils by Carolyn L. Mein, D.C, and Feeling Buried Alive Never Die by Karol Truman.

Clearing Emotional Patterns

Identify

Step 1 is to identify the feeling or emotion. This brings that feeling or emotion into conscious awareness.

Understand

Step 2 is that once we have identified the emotion and thought pattern that was created. Understand it and where it comes from.

Learn

Step 3 is to learn from this emotion or feeling. Let’s look at the other side or the positive emotion, which is the positive expression of that emotion.

Clear

Step 4 is it clear that emotion. This is the way out, which is a statement or affirmation that provides a way for us to shift from the negative emotion or feeling to a positive emotion or feeling. Remember the deeper the emotion is the more times it can take to clear it. Think of each emotion or feeling like a hole. If you have been digging that hole for years it will take more than one shovel full of dirt to fill it back in.

 

Release

Step 5 is to release the emotion or feeling which no longer serves you. Place a drop of essential oil in your hand. Inhale the essential oil. Apply it to the alarm points or emotional points. The bottoms of the feel and ears are good places to use as a backup.

It is really that Simple!

It really can be as simple as:

  • I choose being (insert positive feeling/emotion)
  • I feel (insert feeling/positive emotion)
  • I AM (insert positive feeling/emotion)

Are you ready to let go of those emotions and feeling that no longer serve you? These emotions and feelings do not have to overtake your life. They can if you let them. Grab your oils and sit down in prayer and the Holy Spirit to help you release the feelings/emotions that no longer serve you and are holding you back from having the life that God has waiting for you.

I have ALL THE FEELS for this collection- Seriously!

Emotions and Oils are something I thought I understood.

Especially having felt the incredible grounding from Frankincense, I just didn’t really understand how much feelings and oils belonged together…

Step One | VALOR

Apply to the bottoms of the feet and tops of the shoulders. Cup your hands over your mouth and inhale.

Affirmation: I am confident and secure in who I am

Step Two | HARMONY

Apply one drop to each of the seven energy centers of the body. [Tailbone, 2” below the navel, 2” above the navel, over the heart, throat forehead and crown] Cup your hands over your mouth and inhale.

Affirmation: My heart is open to giving and receiving love.

Step Three | FORGIVENESS

Apply 1-2 drops to the naval and massage in a clockwise motion while thinking of someone you may be angry with, this can include yourself.

Affirmation: I forgive and set myself free.

Step Four | RELEASE

Apply 1-2 drops into the area of your liver (on your right side below your ribcage)

Affirmation: I choose joy and peace.

Step Five | PRESENT TIME

Apply 1 drop to the wrists, behind the ears and the throat.

Affirmation: I am present in the moment and grateful for this experience.

Step Six | INNER CHILD

Apply to the belly button and under the nose.

After you finish the final step in the protocol, allow yourself some time to relax and unwind. Be gentle with yourself as you shift into a new normal emotionally. If you feel like you need to do this protocol multiple times throughout the day, feel free! Once a day is good for some and others may need it 3-4 times a day. Also, grab yourself a journal and start writing about how you feel every day. See the shift that takes place from day 1 to day 21- you will be amazed!
