As the former Mayor of Lithonia, Ms. Jackson talks about the qualities needed for women to be strong political leaders. We chat about women currently in politics at the state and national level, and talk about the changes they are making on the political scene.
Finally, she addresses voters who are leary about election process, and explains how their vote really can make a difference.

Deborah Jackson is an experienced attorney and public servant. She served as the Mayor of Lithonia for 8 years. As mayor, she worked to implement a community vision to improve the quality of life. She also established the city as a leader in the region. She is currently a Democratic candidate for the US Senate in the upcoming special election in November.
