Testimony of Michelle Seghers. Michelle begins her story with a verse from Jeremiah 31:3 “I have loved you with an everlasting love.’ She shares how His everlasting love has been with her throughout her lifetime in the Church, and in her family. God has always been faithful to her. Michelle grew up in a strong Catholic family in Louisiana. Her father was a Deacon. The family opened their home to many Religious as she was growing up, having daily Mass in their home, and being formed in the catechesis of the faith.

Michelle met the love of her life, a much older man and married Jim at the age of 20. They started their marriage living in California and had seven children of their own and raised two from Jim’s previous marriage. Michelle homeschooled the children. After having a successful career, Jim felt called to Ministry, when he retired, they moved back to Louisiana to start the Totus Tuus Ministry and wrote a book called the ‘Fullness of Truth.’ Michelle worked with the Young Adult Ministry and Theology on Tap in her Diocese for many years and then became the Office Manager and Event Planner for Magnificat.
