Monique shares her personal testimony at the Magnificat Saturday night dinner held in Pittsburgh. The audience was enamored with her every word as she shared her ‘awe–inspiring’ testimony, and so will you. To set the stage for Monique’s early years, she was baptized Catholic and received the sacraments of Holy Communion and Confirmation but had no sense of a loving God. She was quiet and did not talk much. She had few friends growing up. Her family life was unpredictable due to young and inexperienced parents. Her family was poor and lived in meager surroundings. She and a younger brother endured the uncertainties of home life and struggled with a low self-image.  Her college life brought new hope but then she got ill. She met a group of praying women, and that was the beginning of her physical and spiritual healing.

Monique Moussot was born and raised in the Bronx, New York.  Born to teenage parents struggling with, shame, drug addiction, bitterness, betrayal, and rejection, her stage was set for a lifetime of difficulty and failure.  Instead, Monique was transformed by God’s powerful grace. Hers is a joyful story of rescue and deliverance.  Small graces, turned into healing and transformation. Monique was freed from crippling illness, anxiety, resentment, and rage after she met a community of Prayer Group women who told her about Jesus. Monique will share her experiences of how living a new life and learning how to say ‘yes’ to Jesus led to unexpected miracles. Over 30 years in Corporate America, serving in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, working for the Archdiocese of New York, and now serving Magnificat with the Regional Communication Service Team, Monique knows that nothing is impossible for God, because He makes all things new.

This testimony was given at the 17th Magnificat International Conference in Pittsburgh, PA, October 7, 2023.
