Testimony of Stacey O’Rourke
Stacey O’Rourke is a cradle Catholic. She received all her sacraments, but her family were not big church goers. She grew up in a dysfunctional household as both parents were alcoholics. She also became an alcoholic at an early age. This spiraled her into unhealthy relationships and activities and failed marriages. After her sobriety she went back to church and found support through her church family. She discovered Charismatics within her parish and became very intrigued.
Stacey received the gift of the Holy Spirit, and her life began to have meaning, and purpose. People would come to her and ask for prayer. She got very involved in Ministries within the Church and worked in a Catholic bookstore. It took her a long time, but she was finally able to forgive her mother. Stacey was the caregiver of her father in his last years and brought him to Christ before he passed away. The Lord kept bringing angels into her life that would help her and her family with all their daily living needs. She has two grown daughters from her marriage of 25 years and seven grandchildren. Her story is compelling and miraculous in many ways.
