Two Kinds of Faith

On this podcast, Lucia compares two kinds of faith; Abraham’s faith and Thomas’s faith. Faith is not only a Substance, it’s a force with supernatural power.  Lucia begins a new series on faith, and approaches it from a different perspective.  She will encourage you to wake up your God-given dreams because God didn’t give you those dreams to die unfulfilled.  He gave them to you for a purpose…not only to bring you joy, but to touch other people’s lives in the process of you accomplishing your dreams.  Matthew 19:26 says, Jesus looked at them intently and said, “Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible.”

Lucia compares two kinds of faith; Abraham’s faith and Thomas’s faith.  Abraham, who is called the Father of Faith, had spiritual faith, a heart of faith, which was based on everything God said even though he didn’t see it in the natural realm.  Thomas, who was called doubting Thomas, had natural, human faith, and didn’t believe unless he could see it with him natural eyes.

In 2 Peter 3:1, Peter said he came to stir up their pure minds and put them in remembrance of what they’d already heard.  Lucia does the same for you in today’s message.  As you listen, she will stir you up because faith comes by hearing and hearing the God’s Word.

Faith is not only a Substance, it’s a force with supernatural power.  God’s Word is a supernatural power and it has the power to change your situations when you put it to work.  Hebrews 12:2 says, “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.”
