Ultimate Love of Christ – Episode 197
The ultimate love of Christ is something we can not possibly comprehend. It includes the creation of man, the love He pours out to us in our lives, and the ultimate sacrifice of His death on the cross. Thankfully we have His resurrection to bring joy to our hearts. In this episode we will discuss the ultimate love of Christ and why this should bring us joy.
Check it out! MediaAngels.com has books based on Christian topics for the entire family. And you may want to listen to this podcast on the Joy of the Lord here.
The word ultimate means the highest bar, the top of the heap, the best or most sought after. I even used the word Ultimate in naming not only this podcast network – the Ultimate Christian Podcast Network but another one as well. Ultimate says, pay attention, this is important for me and for you.
When we mention the word ultimate along with the love of God that surpasses all understanding as the scripture says. His love and His forgiveness are things that we learn about in the Bible. What we do with this information can be life-changing. Do you remember the time you thought about the ultimate love of Christ in a way that changed your life?
In prayer, I have felt the Lord’s presence and sometimes it is overwhelming and I want to capture the feeling with words. But, words are so lacking. We should meditate on the fact that God’s love transcends time, space and even our understanding. God does not condemn us – (hate the sin love the sinner) but He does call us to that ultimate, the higher and deeper level of faith.
Romans 8: 1-4 [on audio]... keep reading Romans. It goes on to explain the spirit of Christ that is in us, and with this spirit we can live a life that is amazing.
2 Corinthians 5:13-15 reads: [on audio]
The results of justification are in Romans 5 -[on audio]
Again something to read, re-read and ponder. Rejoicing in suffering goes against what we think and believe. We hear that faith is tested in fire, and it can come out glorious on the other side or consumed. How will we live our lives as a Christian? The question is how can we not live our lives as a Christian? We give up nothing but stand to gain the world. Through Christ we have the hope of sharing the glory of God – we have the endurance to produce character and character to produce hope. God shows us his love while we are still sinners.
We did not live in the time of Christ, but we are reaping the benefits of this love and sacrifice. We can’t be perfect but we can avoid sin especially if we keep close to God and this means spending time with Him. When we think of the lives of the saints we see that many of them were fallen people, but they rose from their circumstances and were able to show others through their sacrifice what God did for them.
I believe God wants to use each one of us in a powerful way to help a hurting world. Through this podcast, I do a tiny part of the work I believe He has for me. I opened this podcast network to other people who want to share the good word, and if you know someone who wants a podcast, have them get in touch with me. The more people talk about Christ, the more souls we can reach. Today people are in fear, they are not going to church they are not worshipping as they should.
Before Christ was born the world was evil and the people cried out for a savior and God heard them. Today our world is evil, but what do we do? Do we cry out for the return of Christ? There is power in the name of Christ, there is power in the belief that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, that he lived, sacrificed, died, and rose again on the third day. There is power in the ultimate love (his death) that opened for us eternal life. How can we ever thank Him? One way is by living a life that is pleasing to God.
Let’s compare our love for Christ with His love for us. It is greater than we can imagine! And, let us embrace the Word of God and hold it close to our hearts this day and always! Praise You, Jesus Christ King of Glory!
Our challenge this week is to think about the ultimate sacrifice of Christ and the ultimate love that He has for us and to share it with those we come into contact with this week. Amen.
