Join Lucia in this series, “Who I Am in Christ – The Righteousness of God or a Sinner saved by Grace” as she explains the position you take when you ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior and are re-birthed into the Kingdom of God. She will explain that once you are born again, you are no longer a sinner saved by grace, but you’re a re-birthed as a son/daughter and you’re adopted into the family of God.

As a child of God, you are given the gift of Righteousness – right standing with God – and this is the greatest blessing of the New Creation man once you become God’s child.  When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you become a joint-heir with Jesus and have the same standing with Father God as Jesus has.

When you accept the truth that Jesus paid the price for you to be righteous, you will

discover that you are no longer a sinner saved by grace.  You can come boldly into the Throne Room of Grace to make your requests made known to God without a sin consciousness, feelings of guilt, shame, condemnation or a sense of feeling inferior.

If you have a sin consciousness, you need to see physical evidence that God is moving when you bring your prayers to him.  With a righteousness consciousness, you know God is moving on your behalf just because you asked Him to take care of a situation.

To develop a righteousness consciousness, a believer must learn to depend on the free gift of righteousness that he received when he/she was born again.  Jesus shed His Blood for believers to walk in victory over Satan every day of their life.
