Seeking Peace: From Worry to Trust, a new Bible study

Allison Gingras and I talked about her new bible study, part of the Stay Connected Journals for Catholic Women published by Our Sunday Visitor. The newest title is Seeking Peace: From Worry to Trust.  It has all the great features of the other journals: prayers, plenty of space to write in you thoughts, images to color if you’d like and of course, scripture! How can we turn to God with our everyday concerns that often turn into worries and learn to trust instead?

As most of us know, suffering is a part of life and indeed the symbol of the Christian faith is a cross. But God does not want us to suffer from worry. Each chapter invites us to build trust through something different – Life Experience, the Divine Physician, Wisdom and Surrender, Providential Care, Devotions, the Gift of Hindsight and Hope.

The goal of this study is to learn that peace is possible. Allison provides real-life examples and great ideas on how to have peace. The study is grounded in God’s word so it will draw you closer to the one who gives us peace.

The book is available on Amazon and if you want a PDF sooner than the book can get to you, please contact Allison at reconciledtoyou(at)gmail(dot)com. (there is a slow down in getting books in May 2020 due to Covid-19)
